Prague: a playlist from the heart of Europe | OUPblog

Prague is a city steeped in history, where music has long been intertwined with its cultural identity. This playlist captures that spirit, featuring compositions that reflect the grandeur of its imperial courts, the struggles of its people, and the resilience of its artists. In this wistful song from 2018, Lucie Vondráčková recalls her favorite places in Prague: whispering cathedral arcades, small theaters, and lofty halls. The nostalgic refrain recalls the rhythm of the Vltava River that Smetana captured in his masterpiece: “Over the Vltava River, Prague dances with a swaying gait.

WWW Fame Blogs Net: Fame in the Digital Age

In the middle of this chaotic dance between obscurity and stardom, there are platforms like WWW Fame Blogs Net, quietly shaping percept.. One day you’re a nobody, the next, the internet decides you’re someone—whether you like it or not. And in the middle of this chaotic dance between obscurity and stardom, there are platforms like WWW Fame Blogs Net, quietly shaping perceptions, amplifying voices, and sometimes, distorting reality.Once upon a time, fame was gatekept by Hollywood studios, record labels, and major publications. Now, anyone with a smartphone can become famous—but that also means anyone with a blog can shape narratives, for better or worse. It depends. A feature on a blog like this could bring some exposure, especially if the site has a dedicated audience. However, true fame (or even meaningful recognition) usually requires broader visibility—social media virality, mainstream press, or industry connections. Not all publicity is good publicity, and not all blogs have noble intentions. Some exist purely for clicks, churning out hastily written posts about “rising stars” without much fact-checking or depth.

How about a dance blog for people to share their stories and life lessons

In 2017 I discovered dancing. In Gorinchem I started with my first Bachata lessons, soon followed by some Salsa and Kizomba lessons. #ZoukDushi I wanted to discover all, but in the end it was Kizomba that stole my heart. I fell in love with the moves, the music, the vibes, the connection… Now, how about this dance blog? I have been dancing for a good year now. Quite often and quite a lot actually. Let’s just state that dancing “does something” to you. I think we can all agree on that? There are many reasons to dance; it’s good for your body, your overall condition, it keeps you off the street (or couch) and you get to meet new people…For me, dancing is the icing on the cake called life. It makes me happy. And yes, meeting new people is a part of that. People are fascinating beings. I have gathered quite some stories and opinions of my own. And since Val asked me to, I will share them here, in this dance blog.Maybe it's because the moon was full just recently, maybe it is because I once again experienced the beautiful vibes of other human beings while dancing Kizomba, just yesterday. #Afterworkz Anyway, I feel like sharing something. Because life is good. I have been dancing for a good year now.Maybe it’s because the moon was full just recently, maybe it is because I once again experienced the beautiful vibes of other human beings while dancing Kizomba, just yesterday. #Afterworkz Anyway, I feel like sharing something.

I am hoping that this blog will start an educational conversation and not a disagreement. In the following paragraphs I will discuss the reasons why we believe so strongly in our full coverage dress code. This dance season has consisted of many growing experiences for me. This past year I was empowered to believe in myself and not to let others’ opinions dictate my choices, well-being, purpose, or self-worth. I have been a people pleaser my entire life. I believe at times this trait has been a strength and in certain moments my biggest weakness.Toxic social media messages, bullying, and peer pressure are taking a front seat in so many of our children’s lives. I speak to many parents and students that are feeling the burden of this passenger. I hope Exhale gives our students a safe space to quiet all these negative influences, dance, and just be themselves!I hope the friendships, mentors, and lessons gained during their dance education gives them the strength to choose the right passengers to ride on their bus and unload those that are slowing them down. I also hope they learn to be compassionate and pick-up any hitch hikers along the way that simply are in need of a little dose of kindness.
